Fagradalsfjall Volcano Hike

This is the volcano that began erupting on began on March 19, 2021. The last eruption at Fagradalsfjall ended in August 2023.

We parked at the closet parking lot. Took a tour with Geologist. Very informational. She also hiked with us all the way to the top.

Raufarhólshellir Lava tube is very famous. We didn’t reserve this attraction. It gets filled quickly. We tried our luck by going there directly after our volcano hike. It was full and there was no available spots. Heard good things about this tour.

Lunch in Reykjavik . Mamas very tasty vegetarian food.
