Everglades
Specialty : “The Everglades are the largest tropical wilderness in the United States. This mangrove and tropical rainforest ecosystem and marine estuary is home to 36 protected species, including the Florida panther, American crocodile, and West Indian manatee. “

Zion
Specialty : Zion and Kolob Canyons under the same roof as Zion National Park. “Located at the junction of the Colorado Plateau, Great Basin, and Mojave Desert, this park contains sandstone features such as mesas, rock towers, and canyons, including the Narrows. The various sandstone formations and the forks of the Virgin River create a wilderness divided into four ecosystems: desert, riparian, woodland, and coniferous forest.“

Yellowstone
Specialty : Yellowstone is my favorite national park so far. This has colorful hot springs, boiling mud pots, hot geysers, huge water falls, scenic views and flowing river across the park. Also, there is abundance of animals bears, bison and more. We enjoyed all 5 days in Yellowstone with different views, different activities and different perspective every day.

Denali
Specialty : Denali is serviced by a single road leading to Wonder Lake. We took a day trip Eielson Tour. We saw wild life like grizzly bears, Dall sheep, caribou, and gray wolves in the park. We looked for the Moose all day and finally we saw the moose far enough. Famous for abundant wildlife, big mountains with eye catching scenery.

Death Valley
Specialty : “Death Valley is the hottest, lowest, and driest place in the United States, with daytime temperatures that have exceeded 130 °F (54 °C). The park protects Badwater Basin and its vast salt flats located at the lowest elevation in North America, −282 ft (−86 m). This park also protects canyons, badlands, sand dunes, mountain ranges, historic mines, springs, and more than 1000 species of plants”

Dubai trip
Dubai
I have special memories for Dubai. We used to watch cricket matches in our childhood which used to be played in Dubai grounds. Some times people wear big gold bracelets and rings to the stadium. I wanted one of the bracelet which is a snake with multiple twists on hand for long time as a child.
We planned a quick stop over while coming back from India trip.
We booked hotel close to Deira City Centre, Hotel : Pullman Dubai City Centre Residences.

Day 1 :
- Burj Khalifa – 8:30AM to 3:30PM
- Dubai Mall (Souk, Ice Rink, Water fall )
- Emirates Mall
Came back to hotel and relaxed for about half an hour. Went down stairs to the lobby for 3:30PM Dessert Safari pick up.
- Evening 4 x 4 safari 3:30PM
Drove an hour 60KM to Arabian dessert owned by Emirates. Dessert conservation place. Fun ride in 4 x 4 in sand dunes, drifting some times, belly dance, Tanoura dance and buffet dinner out door in dessert. Had loads of fun with photo shoot, camel ride, and nice sit down buffet dinner .
Interesting fact is drivers of the 4×4 took off the air in the tires before entering the dessert and while coming back they filled air in tires again.
Came to hotel at 9:30PM
Day 2 :
- Old Souk
driver took long route and took almost 50 AED to go to Old souk. It is so hot and walking in sun is not fun.
There should be some thing to memorize from each trip. We had one of those in this trip.
Took Metro form Al Fahidi station. Me and my son got in the train and doors were closed. My husband with second kid and my dad were left in the station. We didn’t panic, we decided will get down as planned at Union station, which is 3 stops from the station. We need to switch train in Union, so we got down and waited for rest of them. Once they came we took another train to Dubai city center.
- City Tour
Started to City Tour at 2:10PM. We all are already tired of the sun in the morning. City tour was good, went to Jumerirah, Atlantis, Dubai public beach, Jumerirah Mosque, old souk, spice and gold souk. We stopped after Gold souk for shopping carpets.
That was end of our trip after 3 days of hot and cold weather. There is so much difference in temperature with in the malls and outside.
